At Mental Health Renew, I offer online mental health services that include individual and family therapy to address concerns and needs in children, adolescents and adults.
Choosing to start therapy can be a difficult decision. It takes hard work and requires you to be willing to uncover hidden parts of you. You are deciding to be open to new insights that may have a lasting impact. While this can be scary, it can bring enlightenment, inspiration, and transformation to your life. I offer a supportive space where we will work together to empower you to improve the quality of your relationships and have agency over your life.
Treatment Modalities
Treatment is catered to the needs of the individual or family. I practice from a trauma-informed lens, meaning that I seek to understand all facets of your life and history to provide individualized treatment. I pull from the following modalities:
Psychodynamic Therapy

A deep dive into past experiences that are likely to have an impact on how you show up in life. Looking at how past experiences affect how you view yourself, others and the world, to provide insight that can improve your interpersonal relationships and functioning. The aim is to identify emotions, recognize patterns, and reflect on beliefs that you've formed and influence your responses in various situations. Through this work we may uncover the root of anxiety, depression or trauma and connect past experiences to current functioning in life and your relationships.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Addresses symptoms of anxiety and depression, helping one to look at the interaction of thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Becoming aware of, and changing unhealthy or unhelpful thought patterns can impact how one feels, in turn, impacting their actions and interactions with others.
Child Parent Psychotherapy

Attachment-based treatment that supports in repairing or strengthening the relationship between child and caregiver after a traumatic event has occurred. Forming a secure attachment will support the child to form trust and healthy relationships in their future, as well as process the traumatic experience.
Parent Child Interaction Therapy

Addresses challenging behaviors in children, including non-compliance and tantrums. The aim is to strengthen the caregiver-child relationship, improve the child's self-esteem and, in turn, increase desired behaviors.
